Frequently Asked Questions
All participants should wear winter clothing that is light enough to hike in. Most people tend to overheat when snowshoeing in Breckenridge, so dress lighter than you would for downhill skiing. If possible, avoid wearing your heaviest, downhill ski layer as these are usually too hot and restrict movement. Don’t forget hats, gloves, sunglasses, and sunscreen. These items can be purchased at the Nordic Center. You will also need winter boots, hiking boots, or water resistant footwear, but if you don’t have good winter boots, we can provide them free of charge.
